Velvet Hippo Customs · Last updated 18 Oct 2026
This policy explains what we collect when you use velvethippocustoms.com, why, and what we do with it.
What we collect
When you send us a request. Your name, your email address, the details you choose to give about the item you want, and any artwork or photos you attach. We collect this only because you typed it and pressed send.
Automatically, when you visit. Our host, Cloudflare, records standard web-server information: the pages requested, the time, the browser type and the network address. Cloudflare Web Analytics also counts visits for us: which pages are opened, roughly where visitors come from, and how fast pages load. It uses no cookies and does not identify you. We use no advertising trackers.
Cookies. This site sets no cookies for visitors. The bot check on our request form is Cloudflare Turnstile, which does not set a cookie to track you.
Why we collect it
- To reply to you, quote your piece, and make and ship it.
- To keep the site working and secure, including keeping automated junk out of our inbox.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising.
Who else sees it
We use a small number of service providers to run this site. They may handle your information only in order to provide their service to us.
- Cloudflare hosts the website, counts visits without cookies, stores the requests you send, runs the bot check on the form, and delivers your request to our inbox.
- Google runs the Gmail inbox where we read your request and reply to you.
The person who built this site for us may see requests while the site is being set up, only to check it works. We may also disclose information where the law requires it.
How long we keep it
A request you send through this site is kept in our website account for up to one year and then deleted automatically. The email copy stays in our inbox for as long as we need it to serve you.
Your choices
You may ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to us at the address below and we will respond within 30 days.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Security
We take reasonable steps to protect what we hold. No website can promise perfect security, and we will not pretend otherwise. If something goes wrong involving personal information, we will notify affected people and the relevant authorities as the law requires.
Changes to this policy
If we change it, we will update the date at the top and post the new version here.
